Rev. Dean Dumbrille received His bachelors degree from Oakland University in 1981. He graduated with his MDiv from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne Indiana in 1991. Rev. Dumbrille was ordained at Trinity Lutheran Church in Traverse City Michigan in June of that year..
In 1991 he began his first call to serve Messiah Lutheran Church in Vicksburg, MS. His next call was to Calvary Lutheran Church in Topeka Kansas in 1993. In 1997 he accepted a call to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fenton Michigan. He served there through December of 2020. January 1, 2021, he began his ministry in Flint. Currently he serves as Associate Pastor at Christ the King of the Deaf and St. Paul Lutheran Church. Along with being visitation Pastor at both churches, he as serves as Chaplain at McLaren hospital in Flint.
Dumbrille has served on the Board of Directors for ELMS since 2018. He is Married to Lynne and together they have 3 adult children.
